‘Companions’ is a game art project that I undertook for my Final Year Project. It focuses on taking an established piece of concept art named ‘Catsaga’ by Jakob Eirich and taking it through the entire character production pipeline to have the outcome of two game-ready characters that reflect those in the concept.
Throughout this project I have demonstrated my abilities in high-poly sculpting in Zbrush, the creation of the rider’s cape within Marvelous Designer, retopology/modelling in Maya and texturing in Substance Painter. I have also created hair and fur cards in Photoshop, implemented those in Maya as well as rigging and posing the cat mount within Maya too, with the final combination of all of these resulting in a real-time rendered presentation of the characters in Unreal Engine 4.

Biography
I am a 3D artist with a passion for creating Characters & Creatures. I’m always looking to broaden my range of skills and with each new project I create I push myself to create my highest quality yet work. My desire to learn has expanded outside of University, as I have enjoyed taking CGMA courses to supplement my learning.
