I am presenting my latest game environment, with inspiration based on James Cameron’s world of Pandora, and Moon Studios: Ori and the blind forest.
The intention to focus on during this project where the efficient ways of using industry-standard techniques and optimisation of assets, to practice the overall pipeline used as an environment artist. I used a modular approach on the main structure of the greenhouse, which allowed me to expand the area if needed. Textures shown on the vegetation is hand painted using Pro Create and Photoshop to generate suitable maps. I also took the time to learn more about particle effects and lighting inside Unreal Engine 4, just to improve the overall atmosphere.
This environment was completed within Unreal Engine 4 and created with a variety of industry-standard software and practices such as, Zbrush, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop and Pro Create.
