UI Design for Beta Arcade (Group Project)
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work, here I show my work from a group project and i was responsible for the UI Design we aspired to create a game very similar to Dungeon Defenders.
The game was Nordic themed so I took great inspiration from relevant games but also a lot of imagery. The game had an array of mechanics hence so much on the HUD- the main menu was entirely diegetic, and with the help of the team artists I got the vision we all had to life! On top of all this, I got the colorblind settings to work perfectly and the game was friendly for people who have the top 3 most common colorblind types which i was super happy with. the game had all the information a player could need this includes a controls screen and plenty of notifications such as the round number, enemy counter and if the core was under attack.
If you would like to know more about my work please don’t hesitate to send a message my way!
